Job title: Project Engineer - Governance

Salary: 52,084+ depending on skills and experience
What you'll be doing:
Creating and developing parts of the engineering operating framework and governance system along with policies and processes for the design and development phase of the programmeCreating an internal assurance frameworkWorking with the Airworthiness Team to support design organisation approvals and the appointment of technical roles Acting as one of the focal points for engineering governance between the joint business entity and the UK industry Lead Systems IntegratorWorking closely with the COO Central Engineering Governance team to share best practice and activity supportManaging a small team of engineers
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Degree qualified in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experienceo This must include relevant experience in Engineering Governance experience on Defence programmes
Experience in creating, and applying engineering processes, tools, and approaches for creative solutions, whilst meeting governance requirementsPrevious experience managing a small team, task management, performance reviews and talent managementDesirable:
Knowledge of engineering governance principles ideally gained from at least 2 different areasExperience in working with at least one external Customer (e.g., UK MOD)
