You will provide high quality project controls services to an integrated project team, developing and delivering a major new investment to the RRSL Raynesway campus. The opportunity will allow you to be a key stakeholder in the Project Management team, shaping and delivering the new capability and facility, which will incorporate world class repair and manufacturing of complex engineering components, state of the art technical engineering office environments and critical infrastructure services to support our business programmes and Estate Develop plan.

It's a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we're all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week .
What you will be doing:
You will lead the development, implementation, and management of an effective and efficient project controls team to support maximising the projects performance as part of the project management team accountable for delivering the investment.
Be accountable and responsible for setting up, managing and monitoring the projects controls function across internal and external resources, adopting agile and flexible working practices in a high-performance team-based culture.Be accountable and responsible of generating accurate project budgeting, forecasting and change control reports, along-side weekly, monthly, quarterly performance reporting on project health - SQCDP etc.Be a key member of the project management team, with a chance to lead the way and be a role model for the projects' culture.

Minimum Technical and Behavioural competency level 2 against the RR PMO Framework.A Team player who can lead in their specific area of expertise, whilst also having shared ownership of the wider project vision, culture, and principles.Proven subject matter expert, with the capability of converting that into effective and efficient communication, information, and intelligence, that supports the wider project team, to make the right decisions, at the right time, to positively impact the projects performance.Someone who wants to grow, learn, and share their knowledge and experience, whilst also embracing the use of a high performance and situational leadership team-based culture, being bold and agile deploying innovation and creativity to improve our chances of delivering better, quicker, faster, whilst having fun and staying safe.A good communicator, capable of using a variety of media, across an array of audiences, to achieve clarity, direction, support and understanding.

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don't currently already have this in place.
Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
