We are currently working with a prestigious and reputable organisation based in Telford who are looking to recruit Project Planner to join the business. You will be joining a market leading manufacturing business who provide have an outstanding reputation (both in their market but also locally as an employer).

This is a new position within the business, and you will be joining a busy Project Team. As the Project Planner you are the one responsible for ensuring that the project is scoped and scheduled effectively right from the point or order through to post delivery stages to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

As the Project Planner you will be getting involved in

Providing an effective point of contact for customer orders and keep them up to day throughout all stages Ensuring customer orders are effectively scheduled into a project plan Ensuring customer delivery timescales and delivery schedules are accurate and reflective of agreements Working closely between sales and manufacturing to ensure manufacturing capacity is communicated and maximised Ensure visibility of order timelines and ensure communicating any changes to all relevant stakeholders

Skills and Experience required:

Previous experience in scheduling / planning customer projects and orders Experience of planning within an electrical engineering / manufacturing environment Customer focussed and passionate about efficient service delivery Previous experience in similar roles such as Project Coordinator / Project planner / Production Controller / Production Planner / Production Scheduler / Contracts Planner / Contracts Manager / Project Engineer Experience with tendering, quotations, and estimations would be beneficial but not essential
