Award winning Architectural Practice who have a large studio based in North Leeds, LS20 are seeking to recruit a Project Architect to spearhead a series of commissions within the Residential and Education sectors.

Having garnered a reputation for delivering sustainable striking design concepts with a rich history spanning over 40 years, they currently boast a talented team of 25+ designers and Technologists and are based regionally in a modern open plan studio within walking distance of a delightful semi-rural town with excellent local amenities and with the added benefit of free parking.

Due to a diverse and robust workload our client are now looking to add to their talented team of Architects. Required is an ARB registered Chartered Architect with at least 3-4 years post RIBA part 3 experience preferably with some previous exposure to projects within the Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Leisure Sectors. The desire Project Architect will have developed to they can run projects independently or already be in a position where they can competently job run and manage site progress.

Requirements of the Project Architect:

RIBA/ARB Registered Architect with at least 4/5 years post qualification experience

Practical design experience within the Living sector including Social and Private sector housing, Extra Care and Care schemes, Education, Industrial experience also highly advantageous.

An excellent approach and attitude toward high quality design solutions

Technically competent designer who has experience of projects from inception to completion

Ability to undertake sketch/feasibility schemes to assess site viability

IT literate in terms of all current computer packages and presentation software (AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop, REVIT desirable)

Excellent hand-drawing, illustration and presentation skills

Salary offered is between 37,000 and 42,000 depending on previous experience, plus generous benefits package, agile / remote flexible working and free parking.
