Are you an organised Programme Development Officer wanting to work with an international humanitarian organisation?
We are proud to be partnering with a great charity thataims to alleviate global poverty. They are looking for a Programme Development Officer to work collaboratively with the Impact team on a full–time basis (37.5 hours), initially for 8 weeks with a view to extend.
Fully remote (with some travel to Central London office).
You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of projects, including managing project information, monitoring and reporting programmes, and supporting monthly project management meetings. You will also review and edit draft project reports and proposals, ensuring timely submissions to donors and donor compliance. You will support with budget preparations and annual reports. You will also assist with partnership development, including delivering creative fundraising partnerships and collaborations, and scoping funding and partnership opportunities with existing, new and potential donors and programme partners.
This role requires project development experience in a not–for–profit organisation, and use of a wide range of skills, including but not limited to exceptional verbal and written communication, strong IT skills and problem–solving skills. The successful candidate will have experience of partnership building with UK institutional donors, including trusts and foundations and/or corporate donors, experience of project proposal writing and familiarity with programming documents e.g. logical framework and Theory of Change models.
