You're a natural communicator that can work with various stakeholders internally and externally to assess capabilities, bring the vision to life, assess the changes needed, shape, organise and deliver changes to our capabilities and to ensuring the change is fully embedded. You will have exceptional leadership and communication skills, keeping all parties updated and managing expectations. Critically, your understanding of modern Buying and Merchandising operations will enable you to engage, collaborate and help shape the details ways of working and applications of systems to deliver an efficient and effective capability. You are likely to have several years' experience working in a Buying & Merchandising function and have worked on transformation projects. You will be comfortable working with our internal colleagues at all levels and external advisors and suppliers to deliver projects on time and to budget.

Your Mission
The purpose of the role is to lead and deliver the Chrysalis change programme across the organisation and will be responsible for the delivery.
The key responsibilities are:
Shaping & Delivering Change Programmes
You will work with key stakeholders to define the outcomes and deliverables and the necessary changes at process, systems, and skills levels. Collate the key inputs and constraints to form delivery plan for the contributors to work to ensuring complete delivery and to embed the changes in a timely cost-effective manner.
Coordinate Key Parties
Working with the functional business senior management across Buying, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, Digital, Retail and service centre experts including Learning & Development, Communications and Tech Services together with external advisory and delivery partners, to assess the art of the possible, work around constraints to maintain focus and progress to deliver the outcomes we seek.
Risk and Issue Management
You will formulate a holistic view risks, dependencies, and issues, including organisational capabilities, skills, process, and systems/tech related. Identifying mitigation options and frequent review points. Keeping the RAID Log updated and focusing on resolution and mitigation and sharing with key stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management & Communications
You will engage with all stakeholders, from the Board through to functional levels across the business, some individually and some on a representative basis. You will determine the position of these and establish ways of surfacing their views and concerns and how the programme can engage and work with the individuals and groups to achieve an optimal outcome for the change. This includes working with our communication specialists internally and externally to deliver appropriate and effective communicators throughout the change.
Indirect Resource Management
You will work with the relevant team members to deliver a project. Planning in any resource requirements and notifying the individual or line manager when it will be required. Comfortable escalating to Line Manager of resource or Head of Projects if not progressing to plan.
Skills that will set you apart
Mandatory
Experience in shaping and delivering change programmes that stick in a fast-moving consumer centric business such as retail.Specific experience in change in Buying & Merchandising incorporating involve mixing elements of process, new systems, and adoption of new ways of working to deliver valuable outcomes, ideally in Buying, Merchandising and Supply Chain areas.Experience in working with technology teams to deliver major systems changes, including transition between systems.Experience in developing and delivering training and communication plans with relevant experts.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.Experience managing project budgets, with internal and external cost factors.Experience using standard techniques for great effect in changes: Project planning, Business Model Change, Stakeholder Mapping, Process Mapping, Training needs analysis and RAID Logs with relevant mitigations and Able to prioritise and manage a large number of tasks simultaneously and deliver to expectations.Able to escalate to Sponsor and senior stakeholders with confidence.Experience creating process maps to aid with user adoption.Exceptional problem-solving skills. Working with Agile and Waterfall Project Management MethodologiesExperience building complex project plans using tools such as Microsoft Project Experience working as part of an AGILE team.
