We are looking for people who have solid experience in manufacturing environments with good skills using hand and air tools. The rest we can train!
You'll be working for a successful manufacturing company who have well developed processes in place. You'll be trained as a Tooling Technician / Tool Fitter where you'll be responsible for the correct preparation, maintenance and setup of all manufacturing tooling along with carrying out tool changes.
There is a physical nature to the role as the tooling is very heavy and requires lifting equipment to manouevre into the press machines.
You'll need an eye for detail as you'll be following technical instructions and SOP's (standard operating procedures) in order to carry out the work effectively and safely.
It's a bonus if you have manufacturing and/or tooling experience but not essential if you can demonstrate a good attitude and work ethic.
Here's what you'll need:
Around 2 years experience in a factory/manufacturing environment Experience with a range of hand and air tools Mechanical or welding experience would be advantageous Willingness to learn new skills
You will be working on a 2 shift pattern, days and backs (6-2 and 2-10) offering a pay rate of 14.07ph rising to 15.35ph after training.
