PRODUCTION TEST ENGINEER - INSIDE IR35 - VIA UMBRELLA - 25.31 PER HOUR - CAN START ON BPSS - 12 MONTHS - BOLTON - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS

Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a Production Test Engineer to work an initial contract for 12 months from our client's site over in Bolton.

Responsibilities: As the Production Test and Diagnostics Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Conducting production tests and diagnostics of complex weapons at System and Subsystem levels.Testing complex electronic equipment and diagnosing production test failures down to the component level.Identifying corrective actions in a timely manner to ensure continuous production in line with the program.Providing technical support to Test Operators to facilitate efficient throughput of Prime hardware during production.Assessing related Test Equipment issues and directing support services to resolve equipment failures.Evaluating technical problems to develop proposals for investigations and corrective actions, including process improvements.Representing Test Engineering at Defect Review Board meetings to ensure efficient progress of equipment and quality notifications towards corrective action.Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate should have:

HNC/HND (Electronics) Level of Qualifications or equivalent, plus a substantial level of experience in Digital and Analogue Electronics Manufacture and Test.A good understanding of measurement and test principles and equipment.An understanding of RF and Microwave technology at the subsystem level (advantageous).Good planning and organizing skills.Communication skills, with the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail.Manual handling training.ESD training.
