Job Description: Production Team Leader (Food Industry)

Location: Telford, Shropshire

Hours: Shifts on Days/Nights Rotation, full flexibility required

Description:Murray Myers Recruitment are seeking a dedicated Production Team Leader to join our Clients dynamic team in Telford. This role involves working set shift patterns, including weekends, encompassing Days or Nights. Your primary responsibilities will be to:

- Lead and efficiently manage a team comprising General and Machine Operators on a packing line.- Ensure adherence to defined standards of performance and behaviour among operators.- Monitor and document line performance, taking necessary actions to maintain efficiency.- Coordinate and execute product changeovers within planned timeframes.- Collaborate with the Supervisor to achieve shift Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and promptly address arising issues.- Accurately complete all quality control documentation.- Apply Continuous Improvement methodologies like the 5 Whys for effective problem-solving.- Ensure 100% compliance with Food Safety Regulations, maintaining quality, housekeeping, and safety standards.
