Production Supervisor - Salary 27,000 per annum plus shift allowance - Benefits include 33 days holiday, Pension, Bonus, Life Assurance, Employee discount schemes, on site parking. Hours are Mon to Fri, working a double days shift. Permanent position based in Avonmouth, Bristol

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join a well established and growing manufacturing company. Reporting into the Production Manager, this role will be responsible for running the production area covering CNC and Saw Operators, as well as the warehouse function for both the early and late shifts (rotating each week).

Duties will include:

Work closely with the Production Manager on all Operational issuesPlanning and organising production schedulesMaintaining outputs set by the Production ManagerReviewing and implementing risk assessmentsEnsure preventative maintenance is carried out as per agreed schedulesMaintain quality standards and assist in development of processesManage time and attendance for your team, as well as all employee reviews and relationsEnsure accuracy of stock levels and complete daily cycle counts as required.

Required skills and experience:

Strong leadership experience and background managing teams within a production or manufacturing facilityPrevious experience working in Aerospace or Engineering environment would be preferred, but not essentialSome machining (CNC & Saw) would be idealKnowledge of Lean manufacturing and Continuous ImprovementOperating a goods in and despatch functionStrong IT skillsGood interpersonal skills
