Our prestigious client is seeking a permanent production supervisor who is a key role to the company, who will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of production operatives to ensure efficient and smooth operations.

Duties:

Leadership and Management: The production supervisor is responsible for leading and managing a team of production operatives, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure that production targets and quality standards are met.Production Planning: Collaborates with other departments to plan and schedule production tasks, considering factors such as order priorities, resource availability, and deadlines.Quality Control: Monitors the production process to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications. Takes corrective actions as needed to address quality issues.Training and Development: Provides training to production operatives, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks effectively. Identifies opportunities for skill development and improvement.Safety Compliance: Ensures that all production activities comply with safety regulations and company policieProblem Solving: Addresses and resolves production issues and challenges as they arise, employing problem-solving skills to maintain continuous workflow.Documentation: Maintains accurate records of production activities, including reports on output, downtime, and any incidents. Ensures that documentation is in compliance with organizational standards.Graudates with knowledge of Production planning/schedules within there degree or similar modular who would like to venture into this sector are welcome to apply to this role.
