Production Progress Chaser About the role:
This role forms an integral part of the production team.
You will have an understanding of scheduling, and support with scheduling the shop floor and ensuring the correct materials are in the right place at the right time.
Your role is a key to the Company fulfilling customer orders on time and in full.
As our Production Progress Chaser, you will:
Working as part of a team responsible for production planning, master production scheduling and forecasting activities. Updating and controlling data within MRP/ERP system and production planning spreadsheets to ensure deliveries are met. Creation of Production Works orders and upcoming material requisitions. Leading Business Planning Meetings. Monitoring works orders and advising internal customers of the progress of their order. Updating data boards; Business Planning Room, latest view (LV) of sales monitoring works orders. Identifying, recording & monitoring issues impacting timely/expected progress of order line items and developing alternatives to avoid delays. Working closely with other departments in particular Purchasing, Manufacturing, QA, Sales, and Contracts. What We Offer:

4 GCSEs (grade 5 or above) in English and Mathematics or equivalent qualification or experience. Production planning and master scheduling understanding within an engineering manufacturing environment. Ability to demonstrate a positive can-do attitude and work calmly under pressure. Strong team player. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Committed to work to deadlines and determined to see a job through to a satisfactory conclusion. High level of attention to detail. PC Literate in PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent organisational and administrative skills. Desire to succeed and progress.
