We are urgently seeking Production Operatives. Immediate start
The role
Due to expansion, we have multiple opportunities for machine operators within our factory in Segensworth, Fareham.
Experience in manufacturing and factory work would be beneficial. Applicants must be willing to work both Mon-Fri, (Apply online only) and shifts of 4on 4off, (Apply online only)/(Apply online only) including nights, weekends and unsocial hours.
The job purpose is to:
Set and run machinery.
To produce to agreed quality standards and production requirements.
Tool exchange.
Ensuring all machines are running correctly.
To adhere to all Health & Safety and other company policies.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping.
Other reasonable duties as assigned by Production Leaders.

The candidate
An understanding and experience of a manufacturing environment would be advantageous, but not essential, as FULL training will be given.
You will need to be able to follow instructions accurately, be physically fit and have a willing attitude and be happy with manual work.
You will need to work within a small Process Team in a busy manufacturing environment.
You must have good English communication skills.
There are opportunities to learn other skills such as Problem Solving.
You should be comfortable with PLC based machinery controls; however, FULL Training will be given.
You should have good timekeeping.
There is the opportunity to transfer onto other equipment and processes for those willing and capable.
Training
The candidates will undergo a structured induction and practical / classroom training over a set period of time. During this period of training, candidates will be required to have flexibility regarding working hours (some training will take place Monday to Friday day shift and some will be on 4on 4off 12-hour shifts alternating days and nights).
Successful candidates would be expected to become a grade 1 machine operators by the end of the training period. Following this training period, there would be opportunities to advance to become a machine operator if you are found to be suitable.
Working days and hours & breaks
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
4on 4off (Apply online only)/(Apply online only) including nights, weekends and unsocial hours.
1x 15 minutes paid tea break and 1x 30 minutes unpaid lunch break (M-F 9am-5pm).
2x 15 minutes paid tea break and 1x 30 minutes unpaid lunch break (4on 4off).
Probation period
6 months
Paid holiday entitlement
Up to 5 years of employment: 20 days (pro rata) + Bank Holidays
After 5 years of employment: 25 days (pro rata) + Bank Holidays
Salary
Would start at 11 per hour paid monthly (Last Friday of the month).
50 per week shift attendance bonus when working on a shift (conditions apply)
Further salary increase depends on progression and on-job training achievements.
