Due to incredible business growth we are EXCLUSIVELY recruiting for a Production Manager to join our rapidly growing client in their Management Team.
They have an exciting future with plans to grow their business dramatically over the next 12 months following a significant financial investment from their parent company, a multimillion pound manufacturing business in the South England.
As their new Production Manager you will be joining the business at a critical time where your knowledge and expertise will be fully utilised in a large–scale transformation across production, planning, quality and logistics.

The Role
Your role as our new Production Manager will be responsible for the following functions: Production and Production Planning, Quality inspection and Logistics
You will ensure the successful, cost efficient and effective running of production, quality and the logistics functions. You will be responsible for capacity planning, unit production, unit inspection approval and shipment of goods in line with project timings and revenue forecasts.
To be successful in this role and to be able to be a crucial part of these expansion plans, it would be hugely beneficial to have a background in working in a similar business managing Production , Quality / Quality Assurance and Logistics.
Your instant priorities will be to focus on team structure, current process, productivity improvement measures, efficiency and control. A good general understanding of software toolsets to help with digitalizing operational process, efficiency and control would be beneficial.
Your Main Responsibilities
Ensuring the below activities are carried out with accuracy, diligence, pragmatism and control:
Production planning. Overseeing the production planning process, drawing up a Master Production Schedule and operating in line with the company's revenue and budget expectations. Aligning the operational teams to deliver the expected revenue and budget expectations. Ensuring that operations make best use of the company's production space, focusing on maximization of revenue, efficiency and cost. Ensuring that products are produced on time and are of quality, in line with business performance metrics. Consistently reviewing the human and material resources needed, ensuring operations is running at optimum levels. Constantly reviewing and monitoring the operations processes for the purposes of improving efficiency, quality and cost control, adjusting as required. Responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment and tools to aid in the day–to–day use of operations. Monitoring product standards and implementing quality–control programmes. Ensure that the operations environment is safe and tidy. Working to implement the company's policies and goals Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed. Leading and motivating a team of diverse workers Reviewing personnel performance including development and training needs. Any other tasks that are deemed necessary, in line with the seniority attributed to this type of role. Previous Experience
Minimum of 7–10 years' experience in an FMCG, packaging or plastics manufacturing background – where you have been responsible for production, quality, logistics is a plus. ISO implementation Creating and implementing SOPs Experience of driving change within operational teams / functions Leading from the front and managing staff Great communicator and influencer Analytical and good planning skills Pragmatic approach to problem–solving and establishing processes / practices to avoid future re–occurrence. Be able to keep calm and make quick, clear decisions while coping with pressure Be able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and priorities. Experience of ERP systems Contractual Benefits

Hours of work are; 7am–4:30pm Monday – Thursday, Fridays 7.00am – 1:00pm (or as otherwise may reasonably be required by the company.)
