Responsibilities for the manufacture of fabrications to drawings or customer requirements

The main duties will be : Responsible for the manufacture of fabrications to drawings or customer requirements. Responsibility for the completion of a wide range of fabrications to time in order to meet powder coating schedules/production requirements Advising Department Section Leader of defective tooling, jigs or fixtures or manufacturing problems that prevent production targets being achieved. Ensuring tooling, jigs and fixtures are fit for purpose and meet production requirements to produce components to the required standard Responsibilities as listed in Quality Control Manual and procedures to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 requirements. Responsibilities as listed in Health & Safety Policy. Ensuring that housekeeping of work area is maintained. Any other reasonable duties in the welding area."Assistance in working for other departments when necessary.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:Qualified MIG Welder Ability to read technical drawings although training will be provided for the right candidate IT literate Good attention to detail Ability to troubleshoot Good time management Use of initiative Strong work ethic Excellent communication skills Team player Ability to keep an organised and tidy workspace
