Production and Maintenance Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client near the Tonbridge area as a Production and Maintenance Technician. You will be responsible for managing and delivering all aspects of machine maintenance and servicing within the production and packing areas, as well as working in Production, for the manufacture of various products.

Hours:

Monday to Friday 7:30am - 16:30 pm

1 hour for lunch and 2 x 20 minute tea breaks.

Some other responsibilities include:

Managing all aspects of their machine maintenance and servicing within the production and packing areas.Setting up plant equipment in preparation for the day's production schedule.Perform emergency fault-finding exercises to establish and repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner.Complete and update all relevant fault-finding documentation, paperwork and electronic systems.Stock control and ordering for all machine spare parts, consumables, and PPE.Stock control and safe keeping of all tools, jigs and equipment required for maintenance.Prepare, log, and manage all preventative maintenance schedules.Identify areas for continuous improvement.
