I am pleased to be partnering with a well respected Engineering Manufacturing business looking to recruit a Procurement Manager.

My client, is looking to recruit a dynamic Procurement Manager to support and enhance their strategic growth plans.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

To create and implement a clear and effective purchasing strategy. Build and develop robust relationships with current suppliers, and identify new suppliers. To use the MRP system effectively. Negotiate with new and existing suppliers, to ensure best value for quality products. To be aware of material availability / readiness and work collaboratively with other departments to ensure planned works are fulfilled. Ensure non - conformances are documented and costs recovered. Mentor, lead and coach team members. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be a great and confident negotiator and, be comfortable in their decision making ability.

Ideally you will have worked as a Procurement Manager (or similar) and have experience within an Engineering / Manufacturing environment. Ideally you will hold MCIPS or a relevant degree (or equivalent experience)
