A Harlow based company that supports clients in managing their procurement processes end to end is searching for a Procurement Manager with experience in the construction sector. The role is pivotal to the execution of their commercial strategy, and it is expected that you'll step–up to a broader commercial leadership position as they continue to grow in 2024. Along with a salary of GBP55,000 per annum, you will also receive a regular bonus, annual profit share, pension contributions, health cover, and 25 days paid leave. The role is ideal for an experienced procurement manager with an ambition to make a real impact and further develop their career in an innovative and entrepreneurial company.You'll lead commercial initiatives including supplier consolidation and have day to day responsibility for supplier relationship management and tactical resource acquisition.We're looking for a Procurement Manager with: Construction sector procurement experience – perhaps from a house builder, construction company or tier one construction material providerStrong relationship building skills, with a track record of building and maintaining effective supplier relationships in the construction sectorAn entrepreneurial and results–focussed mindset, ready to play a leading role in company growth by identifying opportunities to create valueProactivity, able to independently overcome challengesA full UK driving license, since the role is office based in Harlow, and will include some travel to supplier sites.
