Sea Global are proud to be partnering with a well–recognised Waste Management business at the forefront of their industry who are currently going through an exciting period of growth. Due to this they are recruiting a Category Managerfocusing on a set of categories to join their busy fast paced function. They have a range of roles available across different categories e.g. FM, Logistics, Capex, Energy, Fleet, Fuel, and Engineering.
They are looking for procurement professionals who have experience across indirect categories and they are open to people from a range of similar industries. Ideally, they are looking for someone who can come in a hit the ground running but you will be working in a strong team who are a tight knit bunch.

Role & Responsibilities
Oversee the category strategy for your set of categories and support the Senior Procurement Lead with overall strategy.Making sure the key supplier relationships are built and maintained.Manage suppliers, specifically focusing on leading supplier negotiations and contract management to meet cost–saving KPIs.Provide guidance to the junior Buyer that supports your category. Experience & Requirements
Experience across a range of indirect categories in a previous role e.g. FM, Logistics, FM, Capex, Energy, Fleet, Fuel, and Engineering.Be able to show experience of Supplier Relationship Management and Contract Negotiation.Management of direct reports would be beneficial but not at all essential.Should be comfortable working within a team and be a confident, determined, and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a fast–paced environment
