Responsible for the procurement of energy and water across the whole business.Sourcing the best deals possible through external energy brokers.Managing the energy budget and forecasting, demonstrating strong commercial acumen and excellent attention to detail.Develop tools and reports to monitor usage and spend that facilitates proactive and commercial decision making.Seeking out opportunities to trial new energy and carbon saving technologies, liaising with suppliers and building commercial business cases for capex sign off.Proactively researching funding opportunities (government grants / funds, supplier partnerships etc.)Acting as a real business partner to ensure that the company's energy goals are communicated and implemented at an operational level across their various UK locations.Presenting data, reports and recommendations to key stakeholders across the business. Energy and utilities procurement expertise.Experience of hedging to ensure accurate budgeting & forecasting.Ideally, you'll have experience of carbon emission modelling.Able to work independently as this is a remote based role.Financially and commercially astute.Project management experienceBusiness partnering skills.Implements projects from initial conception through to operational delivery.Experience of supporting with SECR reportingUnderstanding of ESG and sustainability within a corporate environment.
