The successful Procurement Manager will be responsible for:

Ensuring that supplier agreements are in place for all key suppliersDriving supplier performance through cost reduction. OTD, quality etc.Developing and implementing the purchasing strategy for the businessReview opportunities to establish support contracts and agreements with key suppliersMaintaining relationships and negotiate contracts / prices with suppliersLeading purchasing strategies with the aim of reducing variable and overhead costs for the businessCollaboration with internal teams and members of staff to align and develop sourcing strategiesHeading up and leading internal projectsEnsuring continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operationsMonitoring market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers Developing ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement Profile

The successful candidate will have:

Experience in a similar role ideally within FMCG Ideally be MCIPS qualified Experience in leading and developing a team of individuals at various stages in their careerSolid negotiation skills and stakeholder management, being able to manage a wide range of suppliers and categories Job Offer
