A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced procurement manager who will report to the Assistant Head of Property Services and will have a significant influence in the management of the Groups substantial stock investment programme. The stock investment programme will see over GBP100 million spent on its housing assets to 2030 and our client is looking for strong, innovative and pro-active procurement expertise to ensure the effective delivery of this strategic investment programme.

However, whilst our client's stock investment is their most significant spend area, they will be looking for the Procurement Manager to play a far wider significant and strategic role in the shaping of their procurement services, aligning purchasing decisions to the corporate aspirations of the Groups Vision. The post will be at the heart of all major procurement activity, enhancing all its staff to embed and pursue best practice.

The postholder will hold a CIPS Level 5 Diploma in Procurement and Supply or equivalent and have substantial and proven experience of procurement within a public procurement environment.

It is also essential you understand the external influences that could impact procurement services.

The position comes with 32 days annual leave per year (plus Banks), Health Cash Plan, Occupational Sick Pay at 3 month full pay and 3 month half pay, 4% employer pension contribution including Death in Service Benefit.
