The Procurement Manager / Purchasing Manager position offers the opportunity to work with a market-leading, international engineering manufacturing organization. The position offers opportunities for both personal and career development, supported by accredited training and support. The position also offers hybrid working options but will require x 3 days per week based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain the position is working as part of a procurement and supply chain team, in which you will be responsible for a multimillion-pound project led commodity portfolio, whilst leading and managing a team of 6 buyers and expeditors.

Key Duties and Experience required of Procurement / Purchasing Manager vacancy:
The ability to recruit, manage, lead, coach and develop a procurement team including buyers and expeditors (Essential)
Data analysis (spending, pricing, quantities), market trends, including risk management when sourcing and procuring commodities (Very important)
Experience with International strategic sourcing, supplier selection, qualification, and relationship management, including development and implementation of strategies (Very important)
