Hiring a Process Engineer for our client, for secondment to a Sudbury-on-Thames laboratory, for high-pressure/temperature equipment, rheometers and analytical testing project work, under supervision of the Lab Manager using your existing technical and industry knowledge.

You will provide:
Daily technical engineering asset support, development and project completion in accordance with codes and safety procedures Fluid mixing and formation damage project works and evaluations Monitoring and inventory of supplies and replacement parts for test equipment and chemicals Technical reports, risk assessments, analysis and chemical engineering support to resolve operational issues Leadership to, and management of, the site team ensuring overall responsibility for staff welfare and competency Project design, calculations and datasheets and documentation for a variety of small-scale lab equipment Management of change processes Contributions to programme of works for the site budget and delivery of assigned research programmes and capital projects
Requirements:
Degree, or equivalent qualification, in Chemical Engineering Proven experience of R&D scale technical excellence and project delivery Experience in the review and approval of management of change processes Prior understanding and application of equipment and system design standards and legislation Experience producing equipment purchase design calculations and datasheets Ability to update and maintain controlled documentation Coaching and mentoring of assigned reports experience Working across functionally for project delivery including SHEQ systems, compliance, risk and improvement, safe systems of work Proficient Microsoft Office ability
