Job Title: Private Sector Housing officer

Location: North West

Position Type: Full-time, 6 month contract

Rate: 35-40 per hour

Job Description:

Vividhave an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Private sector housing officer in the North West. My client is looking for an experienced applicant with a strong know-how in a local authority setting and willingness to make a positive impact straight away.

Your main responsibilities will be:

To complete HHSRS inspections on both single occupancy dwellings and assist with HMO property inspections.

Be able to investigate complaints of poor housing conditions and undertake inspections of private sector housing to assess potential hazards under the Housing Health and Safety Rating System.

Key requirements include;

Degree in Environmental Health Housing or a Building related subject.

Qualified HHSRS practitioner

At least 2 years post qualification experience of working within a local government Environmental Health Team or similar.

Rate: 35-40 per hour
