I am working with a leading law firm based in Feltham looking for a Private Client Paralegal to join the team. They are offering a great opportunity as they are looking to aid the progression of the successful candidate.Key Responsibilities: Client Support: Assist in managing client relationships, including answering client inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining regular communication.Case Preparation: Prepare legal documents, including divorce petitions, child custody agreements, financial disclosures, and other relevant paperwork.Legal Research: Conduct legal research to support attorneys in case preparation and strategy development.Court Filings: File legal documents with the appropriate courts and agencies, ensuring they comply with all regulations and deadlines.Document Management: Organise and maintain case files, keeping them up-to-date and well-organised.Calendar Management: Maintain attorney calendars, scheduling court dates, meetings, and deadlines.Interact with Opposing Counsel: Communicate and collaborate with opposing counsel, court personnel, and clients professionally and effectively.Billing: Assist in tracking billable hours and expenses, as well as preparing client invoices.Legal Software: Proficiency in using legal software for document management, timekeeping, and research. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification from an accredited institution.Previous experience as a Private Client paralegal is preferred.Knowledge of Private Client principles and legal procedures.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organisational and time-management abilities.Attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, legal research databases, and case management software.Ability to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
