Print Setter / Operator

Are you an experienced Print Setter who is looking for a role within a well-established company? We have an exciting opportunity for a Print Setter to join our company based in Poole.

Working Hours:

2 weeks of days

2 weeks of nights

Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 06:00am - 18:00pm Days

Week 2 - Wednesday and Thursday 06:00am - 18:00pm Days

Week 3 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 18:00pm - 06:00am Nights

Week 4 - Wednesday and Thursday 18:00pm - 06:00am Nights

Key Responsibilities

Carry out product changes correctly to SOC's within an appropriate time period.

Change the machine tooling, print plates and blankets as standard.

Mix inks to match specifications.

Ensure print department machinery is running to standard speeds with minimum material wastage.

To run the print production lines to the required standards ensuring all procedures are adhered to.

Always maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards in the work area and around machines.

Ensure all machines run efficiently to correct rate ensuring the product is to required customer specification.

What we need from you

Able to follow health and safety regulations.

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Ability to use own initiative within the workplace.

Good communication skills.
