As a Principal Systems Engineer, you will be required to lead general systems engineering activities, which may include requirements development and management, modelling and simulation, design activities, integration, and verification and validation.

The Professional Services Engineering team supports multiple key Programmes, and has a close working relationships with various End Customer groups, taking a collaborative approach to achieve the best results. This role is to provide support to the creation and management of Integration and Demonstration environments, as well as taking a leading role in analysis, working closely with the Customer community.

The role requires a depth and breadth of expert knowledge gained through substantial work experience in order to apply principles and concepts in a discipline or technical area.

The individual understands business processes and the business environment, extends the knowledge base, provides specialist technical advice and guidance to other professionals. Typically undertakes the responsibility, however not accountability of technical or design authority for a sub-system. Can work and direct others in stand-alone situations and with little direction.

Supporting the Professional Services Engineering team with the delivery of key Programmes, bringing experience of VMware and Software Integration, alongwith Simulation and Stimulation experience.

Professional certification with the relevant professional bodyA degree in a relevant subject e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, Maths or other equivalent qualification or equivalent experienceA high level of understanding of the engineering lifecycleA high level of understanding of systems engineering methodologies and practicesCompetence and capability with systems engineering toolsNaval Domain knowledge
