Your new companyThe client/company is an ambitious Sustainable Building Services and Lighting Design Consultancy operating in Oxford, London, Cambridge and Manchester, covering a wide range of mechanical and electrical engineering solutions including sustainability, building physics, and Passivhaus. Our award-winning projects cover all sectors across the industry, including cultural, historical, education, healthcare, and rail. Your new roleYou will be working closely with other team members watching projects through from inception to completion and handover.Duties will include (but are not limited to):

Leading project surveysFeasibility studiesProject designSpecificationsOn-site supervisionContract administrationManagement of sustainable services installations What you'll need to succeedEssential:

A degree in a relevant subjectMinimum 3-5 years relevant experience in building services designExperience of managing and mentoring junior team membersResidential and educational projects form a major part of our portfolio and education. As such, a good knowledge of new regulations, including Part L and Part O, would be preferred together with DFE standards.Working knowledge of IES Software, Level 5 Energy Assessor and knowledge of SAP10 and Net zero requirementsExcellent communication skillsAccurate, good organisational, and prioritisation skillsOwn transport and driving licence Competent in using Microsoft Office Desirable:

Design and modelling software, previous experience (full training will be provided) What you'll get in return
