Title: Principal Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Manchester (Hybrid Working)
Salary: 55,000 - 60,000
I am currently working on an amazing opportunity for a chartered engineer to thrive in my client's engineering firm, which is known for having the capacity to provide creative and environmentally responsible solutions in a variety of civil and structural engineering areas.
With the prioritising of ongoing projects and the assurance of successful designs, our client has strengthened its position in the industry. They are seeking to add a senior member to their team to manage and lead a wide range of creative projects in their Manchester office in order to maintain this industry development.
Qualifications
A postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline (Meng, MSc, etc.) combined with a bachelor's degree (BSc or BEng) in engineering or geology.While not necessary, having a chartered recognition (CEng) from an appropriate institution would be beneficial.Considerable experience working in the engineering and geotechnical fields.Requirements
Must have had prior experience visiting and inspecting sites and conducting tests to determine the strength, density, permeability, and compaction of the soil.Carrying out design recommendations for geotechnical elements in planned and current projects.Has extensive project experience in the industry.Creating proposals, resource requirements, and budget estimations for different projects.Effectively cooperate with other engineers around the company.Oversee the application and upkeep of calculations, drawings, and other materials during the course of a project.Participate in junior staff development by serving as a mentor to them.
