Principal Mechanical Engineer We're looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Kier Professional Services team based in Manchester.

Responsibilities

As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you'll be working within the Kier Professional Services (KPS) team, supporting them in with the delivery of a broad range of Civil & Structural / MEICA related services in both Temporary and Permanent Works throughout the Kier business. You will also contribute to the delivery of more complex services by providing solutions which are safe and buildable (in both their temporary and permanent states), above all other consideration

Your day to day will include:

Managethe development of fee proposals, agreeing the technical requirements of the client remit, ensuring it is fully understood, questioning, and advising where necessaryOrganise and Manage the day-to-day workload of engineers and technical staff within the design team, ensuring technical compliance of the design to the remitEnsure compliance with applicable legal requirements and Company policies/procedures, including CDM Regulations, the Kier SHE Management System (SHEMS) and design Quality Management System (QMS) What are we looking for?
