You can also choose to receive morning calls or be pre–booked in advance.About your role as a Primary Teaching AssistantAs a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the pupils, whether it be in a group, SEN or 1:1 setting, as well as supporting the class teacher.Your other duties will include:

To build and maintain successful relationships with pupils, treat them consistently, with respect and consideration.To help promote independent learning.To help reinforce learning.To help students record work appropriately.To develop study and organisational skills.To help keep the students on task and to build motivation.To model good practice.To help build the students' confidence and enhance self–esteem. What you will need to succeed Experience working within a primary classroom. Good behaviour management and organisational skills. SEN experience. You need to be flexible and willing to travel around the Lambeth area.
