Overall the kit is in need of a good clean. The metal work is quite pitted in places but should clean up quite nicely with a bit of attention.

There are a few paint chips on the lacquer finish in places. The lacquer is very thin on these kits and it’s obviously been a gigging kit for many years! The worst chips are noticeable on the bass drum hoops.

Bearing edges all appear to be good. A bit of attention and fresh heads and this’ll make a lovely kit!

Also, I’ve ported the bass drum head with a 5” code sound hole since taking the pictures.
