Pregnant period is most important time for both mother and baby, if pregnant mother can stop low back pain or swollen legs, to help mother have good emotion, which will also let baby get lots of benefits.
Whether it’s your hips that scream in pain after a long day on your feet or your back that throbs as it supports your growing bump or your swollen feet, chances are a massage sounds absolutely heavenly.
Normally, for thigh and legs we recommended deep tissue massage(not so hard pressure) for reducing swelling in feet and for back generally recommended shiatsu or Swedish massage very gently.
Deep tissue massage help to reduce low back pain. After 12 sessions of Deep tissue massage lasting 30 minutes each , twice a week, it results reduction in lower back pain. Because while massage it increase serotonin and dopamine which can relief pain in the legs and back . It also help to better sleep and reduce stress.
Massage is generally considered safe following the first trimester of pregnancy. If you’re at risk for preterm labor, preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, or other possible complications, we advise you against massage during pregnancy.
