We are looking for an experienced Public Relations Manager to increase consumer awareness of Daniel Thwaites and our unique collection of 4 and 5 star of hotels, spas and inns by developing and executing effective communication campaigns. You'll be a great storyteller and will be skilled in copywriting, PR campaign management, strategy development and relationship building. You will have strong media contacts across consumer titles and experience in managing media, brand and influencer partnerships for a leisure or hospitality business. The PR & Media Manager reports into our Marketing Director shaping our forward plans and works alongside a talented team of Channel Managers and Designers.
Your day-to-day activities will include:
In line with marketing campaigns, develop press and communications plans including strategy, goals, budget and tacticsIn line with business needs, develop pro-active media relations strategies, seeking high-level coverage in print, broadcast and online mediaCoordinate, manage and evaluate PR eventsEngage with and work alongside the social media team to engage audiences across media platformsManage high profile media enquiries and interview requestsManage media monitoring and communicate PR results on a regular basisEvaluate and manage opportunities for media partnerships and sponsorshipCo-ordinate our advertising programme working alongside our commercial sales teamBuild relationships with stakeholders and thought leaders to place trends and insight articles across industry pressManage, train and support one direct report - the PR and Media ExecutiveThe job may involve occasional weekend and evening work and requires travel to our beautiful properties across the UK Who are we looking for:
