My story

　　Meet Porter, a 3 year old Pitbull mix.Porter is an extremely curious boy, all he wants to do is sniff around and figure out what perfume the ladies are wearing these days. This guy was brought to us by City of Yakima animal control as he was making his way around town. He is a very strong guy and has absolutely no problem showing you his muscles either. He is not the biggest fan of the leash though and will probably try to figure out whether or not you can chew on it or not. This pet is available for adoption on 2/9/24 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.

Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known.
