The 996 generation expanded the Porsche range significantly, introducing a number of new variants. Most notably, the first GT3 was released as part of the 996.1 and another even wilder version, the GT2, as a 996.2 car. It's now been around 24 years since the launch of the 996! The car is already a modern classic! £ for £ you will not find a more impressive, well-maintained, example than this.
The pristine bodywork defies its age remaining in excellent condition, with that timeless, 911 drama, in its flowing lines. The original front lip splitter has been replaced (November 22) with a new, original. The bodywork remains spectacular, with no Dings, dents or scrapes. Even the underside is damage and scrape free! The bumper (nose) benefits from a re-paint, completed at the same time as the spoiler lip replacement, to eliminate, (inevitable), age related, stone chips. All panels are original, with no evidence of any accident damage or paintwork. The Basalt Black Metallic Paintwork is in great shape all over. The whole body has undergone Paint Colour Correction Treatment, Summer (August 2022). All panels now have a smooth and glossy finish.
The car has been factory fitted with almost every item of optional carbon-fibre interior trim on Porsche’s 996 checklist, with the lightweight material forming: the centre console, door handles, air vent surrounds, Bose Speaker Surrounds, Air Con surrounds, sill covers, handbrake grip and gear knob. The carbon trim is all in good to very good condition.
