The Role

This is an excellent Polymer Chemist role, working for a company with a growing reputation in their field. The Polymer Chemist, working on rubbers, silicones and polymers, will use their knowledge of formulation and material design and ability to develop and perform new experiments to formulate new polymers with specific properties, and develop new laboratory experiments to accurately test for these properties and ensure they meet the desired specifications.

The Polymer Chemist, will join a producer of specially engineered elastometric products designed to fit their clients needs. The Polymer Chemist will contribute to a supportive team environment, which rewards hard work and innovative thinking. The current work pattern in place is fully on site, with flexible hours.

What's Required?

The ideal candidate for the Polymer Chemist role will have some of the following:

Experience in formulation or material design, ideally of polymers

The ability to develop and perform experiments to efficiently test for material properties

A background in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and Polymers background

Strong knowledge of Polymers, Silicones, or organic and inorganic rubbers is highly advantageous The list above is important, but not as important as hiring the right person!
