About this job

Please note this role is a fixed term contract for 1 year.

You'll be supporting groups that are becoming no longer active to close or merge with another nearby local group, and work with Volunteer Support colleagues to drive improvements in groups where there is potential for revival to an active group.

Managing a team of specialist staff, you'll use your experience of working with volunteer groups to ensure our policies and processes are developed alongside volunteers.

You'll use a data-led approach to ensure we're able to monitor and evaluate the positive impact our groups have on our community and drive improvements to their reach and effectiveness. You'll work with colleagues across our Services and Support Directorate to ensure our group-led services form an integrated part of our wider suite of services and support.

We recognise the significant and excellent contributions; experience; and skills our employees bring to the MS Society.

Working with external pay and reward consultants, we're taking active steps this year to review our employees' pay and benefits package. Ensuring we're aligned with the most accurate and up-to-date benchmarks for the UK charity sector.
