PMO Manager - Business Transformation- New Operating Model

Our client, one of the nations favourite retailers, are looking for a PMO Manager to join them on a contract basis.

The programme this role will be supporting focused on the delivery of a new operating model to achieve plan and drive productivity. The MVP of the Operating Model goes live in Feb, but there will be further design and delivery in this space alongside a second large piece of confidential linked to the operating model.

This role requires the typicalPMO Manageraccountabilities alongside a focus on setting up work-packages to be self-organising, stepping beyond the typicalPMO role of assurance into consult and advise on setting up for success with the appropriate tools & practices. More generalaccountabilities include: Working with the Head of Delivery Transformation and project managers to establish the set up of the programme framework. Establishing governance, tools and templatesProvide delivery team with support in identifying and managing key programme risks & issues, dependencies, benefits and financial opps/risksGenerate management information for the programme and the wider stakeholders. Support and manage the programme roadmap and report accordingly.Set up project control documents, establish a framework and monitor/manage throughout project lifecycle. Complete the necessary project setup in required PPM management systems/tools (Clarity, Oracle, Planview). Administer budgets in relevant systems following governance approvals Skills required:
