Our client is a leading metal treatment operation in Birmingham, seeking a new Plating Operative to join and grow within their team. Seeking experienced / semi - skilled staff members to join an industry leader in the manufacture, testing, treating, plating, and reconditioning of precious metals.

A genuine and practical interest in all metals / quality inspection would have a very positive impact on your application, with some experience of plating, handling precious metals and knowledge of chemicals and solutions also would suffice.

The duties of a Plating Operative include:

"Plating

"Benchwork/Finishing products

"Quality checking and Fault finding

"Cleaning, Polishing and Buffing

"Quality inspection

"Anodising

To be a successful Plating Operative you must have the following experience and skills:

"Experience handling metals (Silver, Copper, Tin)

"Willing to learn and be involved in training sessions.

"Attention to detail and Quality inspection.

"Hands on/practical mindset

"Must be able to use measuring tools and handheld tools.

"Good Mathematics is essential.
