An immediate vacancy for a Mechanical Fitter, with a solid background in service and maintenance of construction plant or similar equipment. A mainly yard/workshop based role in West Sussex, just north of Brighton.The CompanyA successful contractor who offers specialist services to the commercial and public construction sectors.

Job DescriptionAs Mechanical Fitter, you will provide service, maintenance and repairs of construction plant. The position will be yard/workshop based but will include some travel to construction sites across the South of England.

Person Specification• Experience in the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of Construction Plant OR Similar• Must have knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems and ideally, auto electrics.• Flexible and adaptable in your approach to work• Full UK driving licence a must.• Welding experience would be advantageous.
