Job Title: Planning Manager x2
Location: Fleet, Hampshire
About Us: We are currently working with a well-known and established housing developer in Fleet who are looking for two planning managers to join their in house strategic land and planning team.
Position Overview: As a Planning Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and leading all planning projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally be a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI), and have extensive strategic land experience.
Responsibilities:
1.Project Leadership:
oLead and manage a portfolio of planning projects, ensuring their successful completion.
oProvide strategic direction and oversight to project teams.
2.Client Engagement:
oCultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
oAct as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing updates on project progress.
3.Team Management:
oProvide mentorship and guidance to a team of planners.
oFoster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
4.Regulatory Compliance:
oEnsure all planning activities comply with local regulations and statutory requirements.
oStay abreast of changes in planning laws and policies, advising the team and clients accordingly.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI).
Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a planning role.
Proven experience in managing planning projects and teams.
Strong knowledge of planning legislation, policies, and procedures.
Extensive Strategic Land experience.
