Planning Manager Key Responsibilities
Managing and driving continuous improvement within the service planning department through performance measures and KPI'sIdentifying potential problem areas, providing effective solutions to maximise customer satisfaction.Monitoring and analysing service performance metrics identifying areas where there is scope for future improvement.Working closely with engineers and internal colleagues to ensure smooth work flow and efficiency.Building relationships with key external clients/customers and contractorsFull responsibility for onboarding, training and reviewing performance.Closely monitoring the planning teams progress encouraging development through regular one to ones.Panning daily works effectively, maximising all the resources at your disposalAd hoc reporting for the senior management team Planning Manager Skills
Prior Management or Supervisory experience within customer service, planning or equivalentExperience in coordinating, scheduling or planning engineers, technicians, installations or driversKnowledge of Engineering led industries, i.e. HVAC, Fire and Security, UtilitiesExperience in working to strict SLA's on a national basisAbility to effectively communicate with employees and customersAbility to effectively plan, prioritise and manage conflicting and changing priorities to tight timescalesHigh attention to detail with the ability to take initiative and be self–drivenPromote teamwork with strong training and coaching skills
