We are recruiting for a Planning Manager. Firstly, and importantly, you'll be joining a welcoming and supportive team of experienced engineers who are passionate about supporting each other and our customers.
The core business works on an exciting range of HV projects renewable energy ICP and EPC projects, transmission & distribution commissioning projects and large-scale railway electrification projects. We are rapidly expanding our team so it's a great time to join the business.
The Planning Manager (Functional Head) is responsible for leading the planning team and overseeing the strategic planning processes across the organization. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the planning team to achieve organizational goals. Develop and implement strategic planning processes and frameworks. Collaborate with other department heads to align planning strategies with business objectives. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of planning strategies and make necessary adjustments. Present strategic plans and progress reports to senior management and stakeholders. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
What you will need to be successful:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred. Proven experience in a senior planning or project management role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in project management software, P6 and MS Project.
