Hours: Monday to Friday 08.00-16.00

Pay rate: From GBP21.80

Are you an experienced Physiotherapist Do you have evidence-based experience and are looking for flexible working opportunities? Rotherham FT is currently providing these opportunities through an exciting placement opportunity at Rotherham Hospital.

The Trust is delighted to offer the opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual to join their Team. The post holder will work with older adults who have been discharged but have ongoing needs such as falls, fractures and dementia.

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

HCPC Registration Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent Previous NHS experience Experience within intermediate care/ rehabFull driving licenceExperience of working with older people Role Details:

To organise and plan own caseload to meet service and patient/client priorities readjusting plans as situations change/arise, in consultation with more senior registered staff where appropriateTo be clinically responsible for a designated caseload of patients/clients and to organise this effectively and efficiently with regard to clinical priorities and use of time.To undertake a comprehensive physiotherapy assessment of patients/clients using a range of recognised clinical assessment techniques.To plan and implement assessments to facilitate safe discharge from intervention and be responsible for the risk assessment of the working and/or home environments as appropriate.To determine a diagnosis and prognosis through the application of clinical reasoning skills and the knowledge of physiological and pathological processes and syndromes.To formulate/develop and undertake an evidence-based physiotherapy treatment plan, taking into account the management options available.To plan and implement assessments to facilitate safe discharge from intervention and be responsible for the risk assessment of the working and/or home environments as appropriate.Use highly developed specialist skills to deliver an individual intervention programme in consultation with the senior registered staff where appropriate, reassessing and modifying as appropriate.
