Reporting to the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, the role of Philanthropy & Partnerships Coordinator is central to the success of the fundraising team. Together, we work to develop and build relationships with companies and individuals who share our values and our mission to support people to rebuild their lives after crisis.
About the role
Develop long-term relationships with existing supporters and spot and offer varying engagement opportunities to motivate buy-in and maximise support Involve key supporters in the work of local services, managing fundraising and stakeholder events to progress stewardship plans (working collaboratively with corp volunteering team) Add to the team's pipeline, recruiting new supporters through our planned programme of campaigns, events and communications Drive supporter research for the team, identifying new prospects and support new relationship development, attending meetings and leading follow-up as appropriate Keep in regular contact with supporters, providing professional, effective and tailored communications to ensure a positive donor journey experience Prioritise and co-ordinate pro bono and gifts in-kind donor co-ordination in relation to the wider benefit and support to Hestia Produce compelling and tailored materials/promotional packs for supporters (on PowerPoint, design packages etc.) Keep abreast of the wider charity fundraising environment (through newsletters, social media forums, online fundraising platforms, events research etc.), proactively seeking out new opportunities. Ensure that full, accurate and GDPR compliant records of all relationships and correspondence are maintained on our CRM system and shared drives. Contribute to the development and implementation of the fundraising strategy and annual plans of the fundraising team. Ensure that all fundraising complies with charity law, by asking for support from the wider team appropriately, becoming familiar with relevant Hestia Policies and Procedures and proactively engaging in learning opportunities. Take on other reasonable tasks and functions as directed by the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to support income generation and stewardship About you
You are passionate about supporting people to build a life beyond crisis. You have experience of managing relationships with stakeholders and leading projects to successful outcomes. You are keen to progress a career in fundraising and ideally have experience with funders to achieve shared goals. Demonstrable experience of working in a fundraising role and awareness of fundraising good practice (incl. GDPR); OR evidence that you have transferable skills. Track record of success in developing campaigns, events and engaging activities Resourceful and tenacious in carrying out supporter research across multiple sources. A creative and energetic approach with strong communication skills (verbal and written) and proven ability to use effective and emotive stories to establish a connection with supporters Good interpersonal skills, and a demonstrable experience of building skills with internal and external stakeholders. Organised and diligent in all aspects of work, with excellent administration skills and able to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks. Numerate with solid ability to prepare project budgets. Good IT skills (MS Word, Excel), previous experience of using fundraising CRM systems a plus. Self-motivated, confident and able to navigate a complex organisation. Empathy with and understanding of Hestia's charitable causes and values.
