What you’ll be doing?
Support supervisors in ensuring all colleagues reach NVQ2 and assist new starts in induction/training
Act as consultant in harmony with the existing management team, and assist with concerns from regulators and patients
Conduct dispensing incident investigations and ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and reduction of errors
Assist with clinical audits against GPhC standards for DSPs and ensure we are always inspection ready
Review and maintain risk assessments
Pro-actively monitor colleagues’ adherence to our SOPs and provide feedback
Oversee medicine repacking process and review procedures to ensure accuracy
Support teams with checking new product set ups, controlled drug processes, prescription checking, stock checking, governance, and procedure reviews
Act as first port of call for any queries regarding regulatory or clinical standards
Who are we looking for?
Must be GPhC registered and have either Accuracy Checking Technician qualification or Pharmacy Technician with ACT module
A minimum of 2 years’ experience gained in a pharmacy environment
Able to work accurately under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines
Experience of working within company and ethical rules and regulations
Flexible, approachable and committed to ensuring a fun working environment
