Female Personal Assistant required to cover staff holidays 16 to 24 hours in February 2024
We are looking for two personal assistants to join our care team temporarily for the month of February. This work could lead to more permanent hours in the future. Do you have previous experience in the care field, or are you looking for a new challenge for the New Year?
Person specification: Applicants Will be compassionate and empathetic and genuinely desire to help someone live more independently. You will be working one-to-one with the employer and her own home living with her family. We have two family dogs, so we ask that you are comfortable around dogs and are respectful of a family home environment.
Duties of the job
Assisting with personal care, including washing, bathing and showering on a daily basis.
The employer also enjoys swimming and is looking into riding for the disabled assistance to travel to and participate in these activities, which would be appreciated.

Such as hanging out, washing, putting washing on, keeping family areas tidy, and helping to prepare simple meals and snacks for the Employer.

Accompanying the employer to social outings with friends and hospital appointments. Some hospital appointments take place in Glasgow, so some knowledge of the city would be helpful, but not essential.
A clean UK driving license for a manual car is essential as you will be required as part of the job to drive the employer's Motability vehicle.
Successful applicants Will be required to undertake a PVG disclosure paid for by the employer. We ask every applicant for two references, one from a personal contact and one from an employer.
