What You ll Be Doing:

Rowan House is home to 25 residents with acute mental health needs, working alongside the Adult Mental Health Team. Our roles offer employees variety where every day is different whilst also giving a great sense of pride seeing the positive impact you can have on others.

Overall job responsibility:

You will support individuals with severe and enduring mental health needs to live their lives in a positive way and assist them to improve their physical and mental wellbeing. Promote and encourage as much independence as possible by focussing on recovery, encouraging control and choice and positive risk taking. Help develop and coordinate a structured recovery and social activities schedule. Organise, Facilitate and produce written minutes of regular monthly resident meetings. Maintain records of and report on activities and developments in personalisation. Lead on exploring and securing opportunities for further personalisation activities. To Liaise with Care Coordinators, other staff and outside agencies as appropriate Aware of, understand and follow the Supporting People Standards, Support to Independent Living Strategy, Essential Care Standards. IT literate due to the volume of paperwork required to be kept up to date. Flexibility over working days Great communication skills, to be able to engage with and build appropriate working relationships with residents/potential residents. Ability to work independently, taking responsibility for organising and securing activities Experience within a care or mental health settings is desirable, but not essential. What We Offer:
